Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:

Eyes—May cause eye irritation.

Skin—Repeated exposure may cause skin irritation.

Ingestion—Swallowing large amounts may be harmful.

Inhalation— Overexposure to vapors (unlikely) may upper respiratory tract irritation, drowsiness or dizziness.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated – Sign/symptoms of exposure: redness, tearing or burning in eyes. Redness, drying or cracking of the skin. Gastrointestinal irritation if swallowed. Overexposure to vapors(unlikely) may cause central nervous system effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue or loss of coordination. Medical conditions generally aggravated by exposure: pre-existing skin conditions such as dermatitis may be adversely affected by this product. Follow good chemical hygiene practices to avoid complications.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Eyes—Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes holding eye lids open.  Seek medical attention immediately.

Skins— If irritation arises and persists seek medical attention.

Ingestion — Not a likely exposure route. If large quantity of liquid is swallowed, do not induce vomiting, call a physician or poison control center immediately. Never give mouth to mouth to un unconscious person.

Inhalation— Unlikely route as liquid is impregnated on a towel, minimizing exposure via this route. If overexposed move to fresh air. If symptoms develop seek medical attention.

Section VII – Precautions For Safe Handling and Use

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled

Small Spill- Caution, slip hazard. Wipe up small releases with dry absorbent cloth or other absorbent material.

Large Spill- Absorb liquid with vermiculite, absorbent cloth, or other absorbent material. Prevent material from entering sewers and drains. Ventilate area and block traffic. Transfer contaminated material into suitable container for proper disposal. Clean any slippery residues with soap and water.

Waste Disposal Method— Dispose of in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. If this product becomes a waste, it would not be hazardous as defined by RCRA (40CFR261). However the waste should be properly evaluated in case of modification prior to disposal.

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing –

Do not allow towel contact with eyes. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid inhaling vapors. Follow good chemical hygiene practices when handling this material. Use from original container only and follow label directions carefully.  Keep container closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry area. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by use or storage. Keep from freezing.

Other Precautions –KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
