Signs and
symptoms of Exposure: Eyes— Causes severe irritation redness, tearing and
blurred vision. Skin—Prolonged contact causes irritation, redness and
possible burns. Inhalation—Inhalation of mist can cause irritation of nasal
and respiratory passages and damage to mucous membranes. Ingestion—Can cause damage to mucous membranes and deep
tissue. |

Emergency and
First Aid Procedures. Eyes—Flush with large amounts of cool running water
for at least 15 minutes while holding upper and lower lids open. Get medical attention immediately. Skin—Flush with water then wash with vinegar. If irritation persists seek medical
attention. Inhalation— Remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention immediately. If breathing stops give artificial
respiration. Ingestion — Do not induce vomiting.
Victim should drink large quantities of water or milk. Follow with citrus fruit juice. Seek medical attention immediately. |
