Signs and
Symptoms of Exposure: Eyes—May cause irritation accompanied by stinging,
tearing, redness and pain. Skin—Mild irritation.
Prolonged overexposure to liquid concentrate can result in defatting
and drying of skin which may result in dermatitis. Inhalation—Prolonged overexposure to vapors may cause
irritation of the respiratory tract, coughing, dizziness, headache, nausea,
and loss of coordination. Continued
overexposure to vapor concentrations in excess of the accepted exposure
limits can lead to more severe central nervous system effects including
narcosis, unconsciousness, and even death.
May aggravate existing respiratory conditions. Ingestion—Liquid concentrate, in large quantities, may be
harmful or fatal if swallowed.
Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and
diarrhea. Ingestion of sufficient
quantity can produce central nervous system effects and may cause damage to
the liver and kidneys. Aspiration of
the material into lungs may cause pulmonary injury. |

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated –May
aggravate existing skin conditions. |

Emergency and
First Aid Procedures. Eyes—Flush with large amounts
of cool running water for at least 15 minutes while holding upper and lower
lids open. Get medical attention. Skin—Wash with soap and
water. If irritation develops and
persists, get medical attention. Excessive or Abusive Inhalation—Remove
to fresh air. Seek medical attention
immediately. If breathing stops give
artificial respiration. Ingestion—Do not induce
vomiting. Immediately drink two
glasses of water. Never give anything
by mouth to an unconscious person. Get
medical attention. |
